Regardless of your stance on immigration, it has become a vital issue for Florida’s security and economy. President Obama promised to have immigration reform finished by the first year of his presidency. Then less than one month later, he extended the deadline and said he wanted immigration by the first term of his Presidency. On July 1, 2010, he blamed the lack of immigration reform of bipartisanship. The only progress he has made was to appoint Napolitano to put together an immigration reform framework.
