The Focus

Florida’s unemployment rate continues to remain above the national average. In fact, it’s the highest in the nation. Since Republican Governor Rick Scott was elected, Florida’s unemployment rate has slipped and around 130,000 jobs were created. The environment has improved as a result of less regulation and lower taxes. In order for Florida to continue to down its path of progress, we need to elect leaders who are committed to preserving Florida’s business friendly environment.

The Facts

President Obama’s jobs plan would raise taxes.  He also planned to roll out 219 regulations on business that would cost over $100 million annually.
