St. Petersburg Times: Another Policy Shift: Charlie Crist Now Open To Ending Gay Adoption Ban. Gov. Charlie Crist had often talked about his live and let live philosophy. But he had been on record opposing the lifting of Florida's ban on gay couples adopting children, even though he never seemed enthusiastic about the restriction on prospective adoptive parents. Now Crist is telling Time that he would be open to changing Florida's law to allow a judge to determine what's best for the child up for adoption. That might be a way to go and it's certainly something we ought to look at, he says here. The exchange starts about 4:20 into the video.
