RightChange: Obama Wants to Win Badly

Each new sunrise brings us one day closer to the 2012 Presidential elections. The GOP candidates are battling each other more fiercely than ever, and President Obama has suddenly transformed into the ultra-confident man with a plan that we saw back in 2008. It’s official, ladies and gentleman: Mr. Obama is in full-blown campaign mode!

Some will argue that Mr. Obama has been in this state of mind for a while, and we certainly will not disagree. It’s just amazing to see a person who has been the ultimate example of poor leadership saying that he’s the right man for the job. During a recent ABC News exclusive, when Obama was asked how much he wanted to win, Obama answered:

“Badly… because I think the country needs it.”

Later he added that he would fight with every fiber of his being for the chance at a second term, and to make sure that we continue on a path that he thinks will “restore the American dream.”

And at a recent campaign event, Obama even went as far as to say:

“I’m absolutely confident we’re going to win this thing.”

After such a miserable first term, it’s clear that Obama has no clue what America needs. Every time he was faced with a tough decision, he took the easy way out. He punted on every debt ceiling issue, he refused the Keystone pipeline, and he continuously says that Congress is to blame for all of his failures.

Obama only fights his hardest when his job is on the line. Luckily, he has the opportunity to do that. This is not the case for all of the people who have been laid off because of the over-burdensome regulations he’s imposed on our nation’s small businesses. And this is certainly not true for all of the middle-class workers who could have benefitted from the creation of the Keystone pipeline and the 20,000 jobs that would have come with it.

The fact that Obama is “absolutely confident” that he’s going to win in 2012 shows not only shows his arrogance, it also shows that he believes the American people are dumb enough to vote for him again.
