Right Change: Obama Runs On Change As Incumbent

On Monday, Barack Obama made campaign stops in New Hampshire and Massaschusetts where he instead of talking about moving ‘forward’, Obama talked about ‘change’. “What’s holding us back is a stalemate in Washington between two fundamentally different visions of which direction we should go.

T he next President and the next Congress will face a set of decisions -- on the economy, on deficits, on taxes -– that will have a profound impact not only on the country we live in today, but the country that we pass on to our kids,” Change? Does Obama know he is the current President of the United States?

In his campaign four years ago he ran against George W. Bush who was not running for president. Now, four years later he is running against Bush and his policies again. Obama already ran as a transcendent ‘savior’ figure that would bring all parties together and change the tone in Washington. Obama has had his way for nearly four years now. It is safe to say that after these 3 and half years our country is more divided now than perhaps at any time in the last half century.  At every opportunity Obama is dividing Americans into race, socioeconomic standing, religious beliefs and party affiliation. He has been the exact opposite of what he promised he would be. In fact, he did bring ‘change’ to America. He has taken everything that was wrong and made it worse.
