Right Change: “Obama Caught Misrepresenting His Past, Again”

New documents reveal a sordid tie between President Barack Obama and the extreme, socialist political organization, The New Party. Stanley Kurtz, who took repeated, public critical attacks from the Obama campaign back in 2008, has obtained further evidence of Obama’s deep involvement with this underground and hostile group. Carol Harwell, Obama’s 1996 Illinois senate campaign manager, berated Kurtz while completely rebuffing any involvement between the now president and the New Party. Couple this with a statement made by an official Barack Obama website,   and you have official and tangible evidence of the President repeatedly denying any connection with this organization. With Kurtz’ new information, it appears Barack Obama failed to tell the truth.

The official minutes from the New Party’s meeting on the evening of January 11, 1996, state Obama, a candidate for the Illinois State Senate’s 13^th District, made a presentation to the group, answered questions, signed the organization’s Candidate Contract, officially joined the party and requested an endorsement. A flyer and photo were recently revealed to the public, though ignored by the mainstream media, showing Obama spoke again at a New Party event one month later.

The party’s documents shine light on its true mission in American politics. Their official “statement of principles,” a document endorsing-seeking candidates were asked to support, called for a “peaceful revolution” and stated the Democratic Party was too entrenched and undemocratic to be a useful institution. These same documents reveal the party held as their primary goal to move the United States closer and closer to European social democracy. Mitt Romney has used this same verbiage to describe President Obama’s own economic strategies. It appears there could be some real truth to the GOP nominee’s accusations.

Will the mainstream media continue to ignore this President’s past and present involvement with organizations that reveal his true direction for this country? It will be interesting to see what happens over the next week as these documents are revealed to the American people. Will the taxpayers be so forgiving?
